Incredible atmosphere in the stadium. Early corners for both teams greeted with huge roars by each set of fans. Decent start from Man United.

Issue for Amorim now is that usually his first change would be to drop Fernandes deeper, but he's started like that. Garnacho for Mount is an obvious switch in the second half. Beyond that, it depends how fit Zirkzee is. Hojlund struggling again.

Most disappointing thing for Man United tonight is that they didn't show up. Opportunity there to salvage something from the season against another poor team and they didn't do enough. Got what they deserved.

Personal opinion is that Man United have to stick with Amorim. There might have to be some hard decisions made to fund a rebuild, but very few of these players have proved they're good enough anyway. Only positive is that no CL *should* make a top-six finish more attainable.

Man City fans at Fulham singing a version of United's Ruben Amorim/Bonnie Tyler song. Something along the lines of "you're never going to win again, they're crying on the Stretford End, the Reds are going down."

Lovely finish from Gundogan to put City 1-0 up. Overhead kick in off the underside of the crossbar. Worth a watch on the highlights.

Man City getting the job done in the race for a Champions League place. Leading 1-0 at Fulham at half-time. Great goal by Gundogan. Ederson has made two good saves from Wilson.

Man City awarded a penalty. Haaland, rather than Marmoush, takes it. Rolled into the bottom corner. Man City cruising at 2-0.

Feeling in Saudi Arabia is that Man United aren’t the obstacle here and that it’s simply about convincing Bruno Fernandes. United are (obviously) keen to keep him, but the money being talked about is astronomical. espn.co.uk/football/story…

Man United working on solutions for Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho and Antony. Hope is that departures can be sorted swiftly, but it won’t be easy. espn.co.uk/football/story…
