Last official trip out to visit my Commonwealth War Graves sites for 2023; all sites done twice this year.
Actually found grave of relatives of another casualty of mine in another site.

Remembering all who gave their lives for us all.
The 55 RAF Air Cadets who lost their lives during WWII doing what they wanted to do.
The 20 Commonwealth War Graves casualties I look after as an Eyes On Hands On volunteer.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
A great day out at Beds & Cambs Wing Cross Country.
Well done to everyone who took part and well done to 1985 (Flitwick) Sqn for winning the overall competition.
Good luck to everyone chosen to represent the Wing at the Regional event in November.

Great to visit the Wing training weekend at RAF Henlow today, having the chance to speak to the JNCO, SNCO and AdvNCO courses, feedback from the coalface.
Also had the opportunity to interview and promote FS Beaney 1451 (Haverhill) Sqn ATC and FS Qureshi 2465 Icknield ATC to the rank of CWO.

Three busy nights of CFAV interviews has resulted in 3 new SNCOs across the Wing and one CFC applicant being passed to C & E Region RAFAC for final filter interview.
Two more CFC interviews next week π

A great get-together of family and friends last night for an impromptu bbq.
Then some someone realised the spread of friendships across the RAF Air Cadets.

As expected, today has been massively busy for everyone.
Cadets working hard; well done 207 (Cranfield) Sqn for picking up the Wing Field Trophy for 2023.
For me, prospective 3 SNCOs interviewed and 6 CWOs promoted.
