Last week, I had the privilege of hosting the NJ Dept of Treasury at the Edison Senior Center and BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir to provide local residents with assistance with their Senior Freeze and ANCHOR applications.

Yesterday, I was privileged to join the JCC at their community event recognizing local veterans for their service to our country. It is not easy coming home from war and adjusting to civilian life. We are grateful for their sacrifice and continued commitment to our community.

Yesterday, I was honored to attend BAPS Diwali Celebration at the state capital. I am so proud to represent one of the largest Indian American communities in the state!

Parents have a right to expect that their children will be safe at school beginning when they get on the bus. It is time for NJ to join the other 26 states that use school bus monitoring technology so we can reduce traffic fatalities and protect our children.

I was delighted to join members of the Middlesex County Jewish Community Center to celebrate Hanukkah, where we sang traditional holiday songs and ate latkes. I am thankful to live in a community where everyone can openly practice and celebrate their faith.

I joined Congressman Pallone and Senator Diegnan at Edison High School to express my support for Rep. Frank Pallone's legislation to combat Sudden Cardiac Arrest in student-athletes. We must ensure that medical staff have the training and resources to take action and save lives.
