Is anyone surprised that the MoM data from Nationwide shows a 0.2% decline? The housing market still doesn't know what to do or where to go. Sounds pretty much like our government.

In the Bank Of England's report, they say, 'The number of mortgage approvals for house purchases had risen in January to its highest level since October 2022.' Although January started off well it has dipped since then!

MPC voted by a majority of 8–1 to maintain Bank Rate at 5.25%. One member preferred to reduce Bank Rate by 0.25 percentage points, to 5%.

▪️ Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) rose by 3.8%, down from 4.2% in January.
▪️ Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose by 3.4%, down from 4.0% in January.
