To reduce inequities we need to shift emphasis from 'fixing' individuals to approaches that drive lasting cultural and systemic change. Hear @pillai_pri and Dr Emma share how the @wisparkville strategies to reduce inequities have evolved over time.

It's been a massive effort but with the best team!! Very proud of our work unravelling cell-of-origin for BRCA2-mutant breast cancer and mTORC1 as a potential prevention target. Excited about the future and very grateful for all the support WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute) nature.com/articles/s4155…

The research team led by Prof Jane Visvader, Prof Geoff Lindeman, Dr Rachel Joyce and Dr Rosa Pascual (Rosa Pascual) was able to target the cells with an existing cancer drug, which delayed tumour growth in the lab. Wonderful research, published in Nature Cell Biology. 🧵2/2
