Snapshot of the careers fair at the Science and Technology Facilities Council Nuclear Physics Summer School #npss24
Yesterday we welcomed Nuclear Physics PhDs from a variety of industries to the Science and Technology Facilities Council Nuclear Physics Summer School to talk to the students about non-academic career pathways. #npss24
I’m beyond thrilled to share that our work on using deep learning to compute excited states of molecules is out today in Science Magazine! This is the first time that deep learning has accurately solved some of the hardest problems in quantum physics. science.org/doi/abs/10.112…
The Science and Technology Facilities Council Nuclear Physics Summer School came to an end yesterday. It’s been fantastic getting to know these students and seeing them engage so brilliantly with the lecturers each other at the school. I look forward to seeing them progress in their careers. #npss24
Amazing news! Riccardo Rossi of Computational Quantum Science Lab EPFL has been recognized with the Hermann Kümmel Early Achievement Award for "groundbreaking advances in computational quantum field theory for many-fermion problems, including determinant algorithms for connected-diagram expansions
A direct competitor to Dulwich Quantum Computing has appeared. The space of quantum parody companies is heating up! quantumsecrets.dev
