Unhoused people are allowed to have preferences. They're allowed to not like the stuff you offer them. They know what they can/can't carry with them. They're allowed to tell you they don't need food, but need cash. If you're earnestly giving to help them, listen to them.

The root cause of the housing crisis is not a lack of supply. It’s a system that prioritizes profit for the few over housing stability for the many; the right to exclude and the right to evict over over homes for all.
