Update from Chris Aguirre: Righetti High School senior Dominic Mendez wins the 116-pound title over Buchanan’s Ray Ray Harris. The Cal Poly Wrestling signee beat Harris 6-0 in the final. That’s a huge win at the state’s top prep wrestling event, with Mendez scoring an upset over top seed

RIP Warrior Bruce Eckhoff, class of ‘88. He passed away last week after a battle with Covid at the age of 51. After 3 years at RHS, Bruce played football at Oregon & Chico State. He was an officer with the US C&BP. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters (ages 11 & 13).
