Ridge students earn Cub Cash for displaying positive behaviors and then shop at the school store. Students have been purchasing tickets to do special activities with faculty and administrators in the building! Students read to Dr. White and they did an amazing job!

Our kindergarten students celebrated completing their Super Reader Unit by having a Super Reader Parade! They learned about Picture Power, Reread Power, Sound Power, Pattern Power, Pointer Power, Partner Power, Snap Word Power, and Persistence Power! Great job readers!

The students in Ms. Tully's class have been working on their Landform Unit and they created 3-D mountains, volcanos, islands, and more using edible materials! Great job!

Students use their Cub Cash to purchase coupons for special activities with building administrators, faculty, and staff! A few of the students' favorites have been arts and crafts projects, reading together, sharing lunchtime, and being appointed as the assistant principal!

Our fourth grade students in Mr. Popko's class used Book Creator to create, present and display what they learned in their research unit about Extreme Weather! The presentations were phenomenal!

To celebrate World Read Aloud Day, students in Ms. Foley's class read aloud to their classmates and even their favorite stuffed animals. World Read Aloud Day is celebrated on the first Wednesday in February and encourages literacy in our schools, our community, and the world!

To celebrate World Read Aloud Day on February 1, 2023, Mrs. Grogan's students listened to stories read live by various authors. Then, they took turns reading aloud stories to the class and asking questions. What a great way to celebrate! LongwoodCSD

To celebrate the 100th day of school, our Kindergarten and First Grade Students dressed as if they were 100 years old. LongwoodCSD

Students continuously have the opportunity to earn at Ridge! Each class can earn Paw Prints for positive behavior in the hallway, at recess, in a special area, and at lunch. Classes with the highest number of Paw Prints were rewarded with a dance party! LongwoodCSD

For P.S. I Love You Day, Ridge faculty, staff, and students wore purple and colored the school with kindness by writing kind words about themselves and their classmates on purple hearts. The hearts were hung throughout the school. #Youarenotalone #psiloveyouday LongwoodCSD
