To attach the temporary access ramp at Teddington Lock, we will need to close the bridges from 8pm on 14 June until 6am on 17 June. If you have any concerns, we will be holding drop-in sessions on 5 June and 11 June 8am-5pm so you can come down and speak to the project team.

With Richmond Living Streets and other allies we've asked for this to be fixed for nearly a decade. Sounds like the council could be finally coming round to make our town centre a place for people not cars - next series of #TedLasso will show more George St we hope!

New data shows fall in fatalities on London's roads to lowest ever (excluding pandemic). Every death/serious injury is devastating. We’re making significant progress but there's more work to do to eliminate deaths & serious injuries from London's roads. standard.co.uk/news/transport…

Kew Village on market day is a wonderful space, that is so much more welcoming to pedestrians 🤩 How about having it like this every weekend? More space for tables from local eateries, creating a European style cafe culture for locals and visitors alike? #streetsforpeople

‘Park & Stride’ could be an effective solution in some parts of Outer London, while active and public transport is further boosted - with the ultimate goal of most children having a sustainable way to get to school! Interesting example from our neighbours in Kingston 👇

Kew Village has such potential - but is currently just a rotating car park most of the time 🚗🚗 Time for change, to reclaim this space for people! 🚶🏼‍♀️🌳🦽🧒

Using the kerbside - where we mostly just park cars - for trees and sustainable drainage schemes (and EV charging) would make a real difference to our borough, on land we don't need to pay for.

Amazing progress in Southwark with the installation of 165 pedestrian crossings in 6 years 🤩 There’s been some very welcome additions in Richmond at Keller Gardens and Richmond Bridge, to name a few - but a lot more needed to make walking a natural, everyday choice!
