The most annoying invention ever award goes to the M&S Food Store at Blackheath Standard. A mooing cow button for kids to press, loud mooing that fills the store constantly and drives you mad whilst shopping. Must be unbearable for the staff. M&S

Just spotted what I think is a brown hairstreak butterfly in our Blackheath Standard garden, SE London. Large Ash tree nearby and our new native hedge which includes blackthorn (its preferred habitat). Listed as vulnerable Butterfly Conservation 🦋

Hi Lewisham Council - have contractors got permission to block the pavement on Blackheath Grove in Blackheath Village, forcing all pedestrians and buggies to travel along the road to the prep school and PO? The pavement opposite is unusable due to mature street trees.

Pleased the refurbished M&S store has reopened. Disappointed they’ve discontinued soft plastic recycling whilst they redesign the collection bins with no timescale to resume. Example of greenwashing with all their sustainability marketing. An unfortunate backward step M&S News
