Such an incredible weekend! Going to St George’s Park, the home of England FA, where Bloomsbury’s Acadamy stayed over the weekend to prepare for the upcoming season and take advantage of the Elite Facilities. A very surreal moment for me⚽️

A great well worked goal, ‘Playing Through The Thirds’ from my U11/U12’s Bloomsbury Football Squad in their pre Season Fixture at St George’s Park.

Spacial Awareness By creating space before receiving a pass, a player will avoid immediate pressure. This will allow a player more time and higher chance to make better decisions with the ball, reducing the oppositions chance of winning possession.

It’s great for my own reflection of coaching, when players are not just able to take on information but are able to apply it within their game. A great opportunity for players to put learning to the test to generate success. Theme: Counter Attacking Topic: Running With The Ball

Using Pattern Practices Within Training Sessions. Players Repeating pre-determined movements and correct spacing within those patterns, allowing the proper timing both on and off the ball. They also repeat the selected skills with individual techniques as well which is crucial.

Pleased to have found out that I have been accepted onto my UEFA B Licence. Really looking forward to starting the course! ⚽️📚

So interesting to see the best finishers take penalties later on in the shootout. The first 3 are compulsory, surely you want make sure your best take them early🤔

Podcasts! Podcasts for me have been a great way to access and engage with new knowledge, both being formal and informal. This year I wanted to create a list and challenge myself to listen to as many as possible. Any suggestions would be great😁👍
