After an unexpected top-up of snow overnight I made a hurried 45 min climb up the Mentieth Hills. After a couple of very heavy snow flurries with very strong winds, the sun suddenly broke through, just after sunrise.

King of the Castle

I tried capturing Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument from a different position the other morning shot at 160mm. Was a nice bit of mist around the Castle wiht the River Forth in the foreground.

Was v nice to be chosen this week.

The fun of adding storage to a NAS. I had 5*4Tb drives with a RAID 5 ext 4 legacy array. Upgraded with 5*8Tb. Unfortunately the ext 4 array was non expanding. I've had to remove 2Tb of photos to copy the remainder over to the new 12.6Tb and delete the ext 4 😑 taken me a week!

Land Ahoy!

After a good 45 minute climb I managed to get above the inversion on Friday. The golden light hitting Ben Ledi and the peaks of the The Trossachs was amazing.

Radiant

Couldn't believe my luck on Saturday as the fog drifted in over the trees.

No sure anyone is interested (unless they own a pet) but we have finally rebuilt our AI model to detect a particular set of tumour cells in dogs. Working for both companies has been both beneficial and stressful. Next to a prognostic study then hopefully test release to clients.

I’ve made a decision to try and raise some money for a Dementia charity due to my mum who was diagnosed with dementia a few years back. So I have 10 of these mounted prints for sale at £30 each including P&P all money goes to charity. Mounts are 8x8 with a 6x6 aperture. UK only
