So far, about 1,500 homes have been built of the 10k planned at Northstowe - the UK’s current largest new town. Outline planning permission was granted for Phase 1 of the new town ten years ago and Phase 2 seven years ago. This is not down to ā€˜nimbys’ or ā€˜red tape’.
