Also, will not soon forget Stephen Nedoroscik for his clutch pommel routine to clinch bronze for Team USA. Where else can you finish third and be a hero but The Olympic Games?! I see endorsements in the optical space soon for “The Specialist.” #Olympics2024Paris

Great aspect of The Olympic Games is “other” sports. Watching one of the LeBrun brothers in table tennis before a packed house. It’s intense. And if you haven’t seen the clip of Judoka giant Teddy Riner winning gold, find it. One of the electric moments of the Games. #OlympicGames

Always love chatting with my longtime friend Gary Williams whom I consider one of the brightest minds in golf and among the best talk show hosts in all of sports.

Sad to hear of the passing of Jeff Babineau, a wonderful golf writer. Jeff was a big teddy bear. If you were a fellow journalist, you wanted to hang with him. If you were a player, you were comfortable with Jeff telling your story. He was the best among us.

Fitting with the first dusting here in the Northeast, I’m moving from golf to winter sports with the Stifel Snow Show on CNBC today at 2:30pm!

Another loss for golf with the passing of longtime writer Steve DiMeglio. Always there—first tee, 18th green, press conference, lunch room. A fixture. One of Tiger Woods favorites, for good reason. Media centers won’t be the same. RIP
