It was brilliant to be on BBC breakfast today talking about the first book that Matt Singleton has produced for people living with dementia. Matt has worked in collaboration with Alzheimer's Society via our accelerator programme, helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.

We’re one step closer to a simple blood test that the NHS could use to diagnose dementia, meaning more people will get an accurate diagnosis much earlier. We join Alzheimer's Research UK to announce our Blood Biomarker Challenge teams from University of Oxford and UCL.

It is fantastic to be World Dementia Council 2024 summit talking about the future of dementia research. A quote I liked 'we over estimate what we can achieve in 12 months but underestimate what we can achieve in 10 years'. There is no doubt this is an exciting time in dementia research.

It was fantastic to be at the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programmes . It was inspiring to see the innovations being developed in our NHS. Tony Young finished by stating that innovation means the future will be better than the past. That is so true for dementia.

A great video from Siân Gregory explaining why the recent paper on blood tests for AD is exciting and why there is still a lot more research to be done.

A groundbreaking achievement from Prof De Strooper and team on what could be driving the death of brain cells in Alzheimer’s disease.

More research is needed to better understand the pathway leading to cell death but this is very exciting science.

This is a shocking analysis 👇, but we could be at a turning point in dementia thanks in part due to research Alzheimer's Society funded 30 years ago. It has never been more important to make dementia a priority Alzheimer's Society Campaigns.
