pikmin fans are starting to fear monger over the baby animation, guys i dont think its that deep, this isnt "the death of the pikmin series", if this was meant to be an ad or teaser for something related to pikmin *games* then they wouldnt advertise it like this

i think the safest guess is that this is a teaser for Nintendo Pictures, nintendo's new animation studio, they previously did all of the pikmin short movies before nintendo acquired them so I believe the pikmin references were just done as an homage to the studio's roots

in a week's time we'll likely be informed on what it actually is and it'll have basically nothing to do with pikmin (games) and people will act like this fear mongering and panic never happened, but ppl gotta learn to chill with shit like this, it just causes unnecessary panic

p sure this was a correct guess, the way the pikmin are animated in that short is almost 1 to 1 with the older pikmin short movies, and i dont think it has anything to do with a new game
