🦌 The European #FallowDeer are also thriving in the Budzhak #steppe 🇺🇦. We plan to release part of the herd from the enclosure into the wild this year. Some kulans and fallow deer appear to be pregnant, so life on the steppe continues to flourish.

During the examination of the #steppe , we observed and photographed #marmots that had awakened and were standing sentinel near their dens. At least 10 animals were visible, appearing healthy and active, indicating a successful wintering period.
