I’ve long been an admirer of Pope Francis and his work to center the poor and marginalized. I reflected on my experience meeting Pope Francis and the legacy he leaves behind on All In with Chris Hayes last night.

As Dr. King said, we are all tied together in a single garment of destiny. It’s one of the key lessons in my new book and one I try to teach my own children.
