Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless. Isaiah 1:17 Nowhere is the call to repentance & faith made as clear as in Isaiah. Nowhere is the central message of the coming of Christ, so wonderfully foreshadowed.

God invades our hearts and draws near to us when he knows it is a favourable moment. For myself I thank God that he drew near to me in my teens. I was a pretty unpleasant 15 year old. But think how unpleasant I’d be today if he hadn’t drawn near to me.
