What was going on with 008 during 565 this morning?

The announcement of the winner of Crufts felt like an anti climax.

Celebrating a certain day in style, cheers!

It was announced this morning that I have been appointed as Rector of The Stalham and Smallburgh Beneficiaries. I shall be leaving the Bittern Group Benefice in July to take up the new post and begin the next part of the journey.

Please tell me it isn’t just me that felt the concert from HorseGuards was far from the party it was described as. Didn’t recreate the spirit of VE Day, and no link to the national beacon lighting.

Thank you Clergy Support Trust for a wonderful service at St. Paul’s once again.

46 years ago we said goodbye to a wonderful woman and a very special grandmother, so I have raised a toast of “mothers ruin” as she called it, knowing that she would be very proud of what her two grandchildren have become and would have adored her great granddaughters.

Better start packing. Last service at Rackheath 20th July 10.30am, all are welcome.

Town council Beer Festival in St Mary’s Church. Would be rude not to sample a few beers.

We have a large bouncy Snow Globe in St Mary’s Stalham!

This coming Sunday after the Yule Tide Market come and sing Carols in St Mary’s and enjoy the Christmas trees before the tree festival ends.

Have had the privilege of watching two Nativity plays today. Both were fantastic and the children and staff were great. Well done East Ruston Infant school and Nursery this morning and The Stables school this afternoon.

Honing Church was packed for the Crib Service this evening.

Come and join us at Crostwight Church at 2pm on Sunday 28th December for a service of Carols and readings to celebrate the Christmas Season. Crostwight church is a unique church in the middle of a field and accessed on foot, with amazingly well preserved wall paintings.

Have had some great fun smashing eggs, plunging my arm into chicken manure & making edible Easter gardens this week, as well as hearing some great singing. The privilege of ministry in schools & sharing the Easter message with young people. Now time to concentrate on Holy Week.
