I am actually delighted with this attempt at pre shading; I’ve used Vallejo primer & it has gone down so smoothly! It’s really picked out the detail already. Don’t want to overdo it so I’ll leave it at that and see how it looks tomorrow but I can’t wait to get the base colour on!

Glossed and decals applied, had a nightmare with one of the ‘421’ numbers, it disintegrated! So there won’t be an id number on the rear of the turret sadly. Just glossed it again to seal everything in before painting little bits and a little panel wash.

Gloss dried well and I’ve just added a little dirty wash to it. Now I’ll give it a matt coat before sone weathering which I’m excited for!

What’s the best Heinkel 111 model out the at the moment? Not built one in years, got the Matchbox one in my collection but would rather build one a bit more detailed although the Matchbox one gives great nostalgia. 1:72 or 1:48 scale max. Or just build the Matchbox one? 🧐
