The last two years have been especially challenging. Disaster after disaster, reopening of old wounds and heartache, and the shattering of my psyche—a tumultuous rollercoaster, to say the least, but by the end? I took hold of what serves me and let go of the rest.

I’ll never let anyone or anything take hold of me and paralyze me like that ever again. I’ll die before I become a slave to an external entity or force. The only thing that shall move or halt me is myself.
