On Thursday 1st May, Rethink Rebuild Society had the pleasure of attending the Manchester Local Authority of Sanctuary Networking Event: Health and Wellbeing. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with other refugee support organisations.

On Friday 2nd May, RRSoc hosted the Syrian Games Olympics for Men — a vibrant event that brought together members of the community in a spirit of friendly competition. Congratulations to the winners and well done to every competitor who made the event memorable!

Over the past few months, RRSoc has been working in partnership with Marjan to deliver Arabic language learning activities for children. This collaboration aims to create a welcoming environment where young learners can develop and strengthen their Arabic language skills.

On Thursday 8th May, RRSoc hosted a moving seminar on the events in Syria at the end of 2024 and the impact on Syrians and the wider region. A huge thank you to Haytham, Hammood, Abir, and Moustafa for their insightful talks and for the lively and engaging panel discussion.
