Met with the #RI02 Women’s Advisory Committee today to provide a legislative update on my work in Congress. We covered a lot of ground and discussed vital issues such as protecting abortion rights, expanding the Child Tax Credit and paid leave from work.

Had a wonderful time visiting seniors at the West Warwick Senior Center. You have my word that I'll always fight for the vital programs seniors rely on, including Social Security and Medicare, to ensure older Rlers can retire with dignity.

Even when states claim to have exceptions to their abortion ban, they really don’t. Not when doctors refuse an abortion or insurance fails to cover the procedure because they’re afraid of the legal consequences. Roe v. Wade must be restored. npr.org/sections/shots…

We’re opening the doors to the Community MusicWorks new building in Providence today. Music education is critical to providing young people with an outlet for creative expression. Excited to see this building become a hub for creativity and collaboration for generations to come.
