June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. The 102nd Illinois General Assembly passed Senate Bill 677, which requires each person seeking licensure to practice medicine to complete dementia diagnosis, treatment, and care training.

June is Pride Month! Let’s celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and vow to ensure everyone in Illinois has equal human rights. While other states are attacking and diminishing the LGBTQ+ community, we want our people to have an equal opportunity for safety, joy, and prosperity.

Today is World Refugee Day. Across the globe displaced people from Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan, and other regions leave their homes and families to escape danger. Illinois will always remain a state that is open and accepting of people from all cultures and backgrounds.
