My prayers are with Charlie Kirk, his family and the many people at the event during this horrific violent attack. Violence due to a difference in beliefs is NEVER acceptable and I hope the shooter experiences swift and full justice.

I sat down with Olivia Hayes of ABC 17 News earlier today to discuss the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the current state of violent rhetoric and action in politics, and what we must do to move forward. We cannot be silent. We cannot timidly retreat in the face of adversity.

On this day of remembrance, we mourn & remember the loss of those who were attacked by terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001. Now, yesterday, will be the day we “Remember Charlie Kirk.” Two tragedies, one an attack on America, one an attack on a favored son. God please heal our nation.
