Great to be at Northern Rivers this morning to welcome Dr. Matthew Shaftel, the new president of Russell Sage College, to our community!  I’m excited to work with Dr. Shaftel to promote research, innovation, and the arts here in our Capital Region and beyond.

Last night, ahead of International Overdose Awareness Day, I headed to Congress Park in Saratoga Springs for a vigil to honor those we have lost to overdoses. Our opioid crisis deserves a response rooted in hope, and I’m committed to delivering that response in Congress.
