Thanks to PA Black Maternal Health Caucus, we have introduced the Pennsylvania Momnibus legislation in time for Black Maternal Health Week! We're looking forward to session next week, when we bring awareness to the bills, with events planned in the Capitol ... I look forward to reporting back!

We will always prioritize common sense gun safety measures, and this latest measure is just one more step we’re taking to reduce gun violence and keep our communities safe.

This bill closes loopholes in existing gun laws to treat ghost guns like any other firearm.

I'm honored to begin serving as majority chair of the #PAHouse  Insurance Committee. We advanced several bills with bipartisan support today including allowing health insurance to cover telemedicine and adding protections for consumers purchasing pet insurance in the commonwealth.

CBK was the first female LG of Pennsylvania, she was a fighter who broke barriers and shattered glass ceilings. It’s an honor to have her portrait rest in my office.

It's an honor to appointed chair of the House Insurance Committee, effective today. Being in the majority means that the committee will continue advancing legislation to help workers, tax and rate payers, families, seniors and children alike.

We must provide more support to Adult Day Services because they’re an invaluable resource to caregivers looking after our older population. They’re safe spaces where seniors can be dropped off while their caregiver steps out. These centers are critical for older Pennsylvanians!

We continue conducting important committee hearings that impact older Pennsylvanians. Today, we discussed the integral part of adult day services in the Commonwealth.

With the swearing-in of Democrat Jim Prokopiak as the 140th District representative, the Pa. House is now at 202 members with one opening to be filled on April 23
