The continued water crisis in Passaic County is a tragedy and an outrage and my heart goes out to all affected. Over the past several days my office has been in contact with federal, state and local water officials to make sure emergency responders and constituents have needed

This afternoon I visited the site of the ruptured pipe that has caused a crisis in Passaic County. That families in our communities have gone without water for days is an unbearable burden. The sense of urgency to fix this cannot be greater.

This week we marked Indian Independence Day in #NJ09. We are blessed to live in one of the most diverse districts in all America and our Indian American neighbors are a key segment of that rich quilt of communities. Indian culture is American culture! 🇺🇸 🇮🇳 🇺🇸 🇮🇳

Last night in #Secaucus we had the grand opening of the new community center, named in honor of our great longtime Mayor Michael Gonnelli. This new space was built in part with $950,000 in federal funds secured by our #NJ09 congressional office.

Last night I attended the North Haledon council meeting to discuss the ongoing water crisis. Since it began, my office has worked with local, county, state, and federal leaders to bring critical aid to end this tragedy. While I have only been in Congress a few months, I am 100%

This weekend in #Clifton we marked Ukraine Independence Day. This day means more now than usual because Ukrainians are fighting to preserve that independence against a hostile force. God bless and keep the Ukrainian people and their proud nation. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

I am very proud that New Jersey is home to the second largest community of Ecuadorian Americans in our entire nation. Our raising of the Ecuadoran flag in #Passaic reaffirms that Ecuadorans are a critical part of our city, our state, and our country. 🇺🇸 🇪🇨 🇺🇸 🇪🇨

As our communities continue to recover from the water crisis, today my new bill the Water Crisis Prevention Act passed out of committee. My bill would look at how the government can better identify areas most at risk of water crises and get funding to these communities faster.

This weekend our office hosted a joint event with the Passaic County Clerk in #Clifton. During our mobile office hours we offered help with Social Security, Medicare, VA IDs, and other areas. If you ever need any constituent service help call our office any time 973-523-5152!
