Last night I attended a House viewing of the new Netflix film about Shirley Chisholm. I was proud to join many of my NY colleagues from both parties to cosponsor Rep. Barbara Lee’s bill to posthumously award a Congressional Gold Medal to Chisholm, a trailblazer and inspiration.
