I was glad to be with the HOPE Commission at their Women’s Reentry Luncheon. Women who have made contact with the justice system face unique barriers to re-entry and those who have paid their debt to society deserve a fair shot at a second chance & a clean slate.
I was proud to be with Senator Tom Carper, Senator Chris Coons, and other leaders to break ground on the SABRE Center at Univ. of Delaware. This new facility will help prepare our workforce for the jobs of today and tomorrow, and be a hub for innovation in our state.
After countless expert-level briefings, thorough discussions with my colleagues, and deep prayer, I voted in favor of legislation that I believe upholds America’s national security interests and democracy around the world.

The #AffordableConnectivityProgram connects over 50,000 Delawareans to affordable, high-speed internet. However, it runs out of funding at the end of April.
That’s why I signed onto a letter with my New Democrat Coalition (NDC) colleagues calling for this program to be extended immediately.
