August 6th commemorates the passage of the #VotingRightsAct of 1965, a landmark victory for civil rights. The success of any democracy is determined by free, fair, and equal elections. By expanding access to the ballot box, the #VRA brought our nation closer to a just democracy.

Today, we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the historic CHIPS and Science Act, which invested $52 billion in American-made semiconductor manufacturing, research, and workforce development. Investments in American jobs and industries are investments in the American people.

As we near the close of the #Olympics , I'm thinking back to my visit at 888 Table Tennis in Burlingame, a training center for #TeamUSA's table tennis team! Congrats to all the athletes who have the honor of representing the #UnitedStates at #Olympics2024Paris. You make us proud!
