It was a beautiful morning to celebrate Arbor Day at Elm Park! This is Worcester’s 39th consecutive year earning the Tree City USA designation from the Arbor Day Foundation 🌳

At the MA Clubhouse Coalition’s Annual Employment Celebration this past Wednesday, I was delighted to recognize the partnership between Genesis Club, Inc. and Chartwell’s at WPI. Together they make strides in diversifying our state’s workforce; their recognition was well-deserved!

Today I testified before the Health Care Financing Committee in support of An Act strengthening mental health centers, which I filed alongside John F. Keenan. This bill will ensure that mental health clinics & their staff get fairly compensated for their invaluable services.

Yesterday, my colleagues and I welcomed staff from Elder Services of Worcester Area (ESWA) to the State House for Older Adult Lobby Day. Thank you to all those who shared their personal stories and for all you do to help older adults live safely and independently.

Today we remember our fallen and honor the brave sacrifices they made for our country. Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸
