Saddened to hear the passing of Utah Jazz Legend Mark Eaton. It was a pleasure to meet him back in 2017 at the Utah Capitol. He is someone I’ve always looked up to, as I know many other Utahns have. I send my thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones at this time.

I had the opportunity to attend the Community Health Worker Advocacy Day on the Hill! I spoke with Senator Escamilla who is sponsoring this bill and share my support. This bill allows community health service workers to get paid while helping those in underserved communities.

I was able to use a laser that helps people with eye problems. I appreciate our Optometrists and the great service they provide to our state.

It was great meeting with all of you at our Town Hall. Special thanks to Mayor Burton who joined us! It was great hearing your input on the many issues facing our state.

For me, grandkids make the world go round! This is one of the highlights of the whole session for me.
