Today I welcomed Deputy Secretary Don Graves to Lake City to celebrate a $13.5M grant from the Department of Commerce that will improve the city's water infrastructure. This investment will protect homes and businesses from flooding and help the Lake City community flourish for years to come.

Yesterday the Buffalo-Niagara tour with James E. Clyburn continued at the Niagara Falls UGRR Heritage Center. Here we took a deeper look into the critical role Buffalo and Niagara Falls played in the Underground Railroad.
This morning we also had the honor of walking through the Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor with James E. Clyburn. This area tells the living story of Buffalo's key role in the fight for freedom, cultural expression, and self-determination.
