Insulin is a lifesaving drug for thousands of South Texans with diabetes. The #InflationReductionAct has not only capped the cost of insulin at $35 a month for Medicare recipients — it has also forced big pharma to slash their insulin prices by 75%.

The #AffordableCareAct and #InflationReductionAct are making a huge difference in the lives of South Texans. This year, 129,000 folks will receive quality healthcare through the ACA. Thanks to the IRA, They will save an average of $420 annually in premiums.

In 2022, Congress passed the PACT Act, the most significant expansion of VA benefits in over 30 years. More than 3600 claims covered under this law have been filed from veterans in TX-34.
This was a great step forward, but we must continue to expand coverage for our veterans.

Happy to commemorate the opening of the Veterans International Bridge’s new expansion lanes. These will drastically reduce wait times and improve the efficiency of this vital link between the U.S. and Mexico.

Thanks to the #BipartisanInfrastructureLaw , $33.1 million in airport infrastructure funding has been awarded to TX-34. These funds improve the efficiency of our airports, increase passenger safety, and ensure South Texans can smoothly take to the skies for decades to come!

The #AffordableConnectivityProgram is closing the digital divide! We must ensure this crucial program remains funded so families throughout South Texas can have reliable internet access.

I thank President Biden for standing by the safety of Israel. We cannot condition aid to our ally who has every right to defend its citizens. As the Admin works with Israel to find a peaceful end to the conflict, we must continue to provide U.S. defensive assistance and supplies.
