CFPB is unaccountable to Congress, unaccountable to POTUS, doesn't receive Congressional funding & has been weaponized. I authored HR 1603 – "Repeal CFPB Act" to eliminate it OUTRIGHT. To increase access to capital, government must take its foot off the neck of community banks.

It's hard for self-starters getting into the business world to get loans from a Big Bank. It's hard for those in rural & underserved communities to get loans from a Big Bank. Community Banks give hardworking Americans a chance to bet on themselves & pursue the American Dream.
