Charlestown High School Basketball Coach Hugh Coleman (formerly of Brighton High School) visited the State House today celebrating his team’s 2024 State Championship. Congratulations—you make Boston proud. 🏀 Thank you Dan Ryan for hosting.

USS Constitution will be open for public tours on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024, and will fire a 21-gun salute at noon. The salute will consist of one round being fired every minute, for 21 minutes. The crew will also hold a special presentation at 11:30 a.m.

For the first time, UK and US flags have been planted side-by-side to remember the lives lost on both sides at The Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. Thank you Boston NHP, Home Base and American Legion Post 26 for inviting us to be part of this collaborative effort.

I want to congratulate the Charlestown Boys Basketball team for a fantastic season and winning the Division 3 title! It was a pleasure to join State Senator Liz Miranda and Dan Ryan in the Senate Chamber to present the team with a citation and highlight their impressive accomplishment.

Joined the groundbreaking ceremony for Building 107 at the Charlestown Navy Yard this morning! Building 107 will serve as the headquarters officer for the National Parks of Boston, housing 80 individuals. I'm thrilled to see this investment come to fruition.
