.Governor Tony Evers delivered $10M for workforce training across Wisconsin. Now imagine what we could do if Republicans hadn’t blocked the rest of his plan. With paid leave, apprenticeships, and local training grants, we could be leading the country in worker readiness.

The budget before the legislature today is more than numbers — it's about kids. It's about hungry kids who can't focus, teens battling anxiety with nowhere to turn, and teachers who are stretched too thin. We've coasted long enough. It's time to fuel Wisconsin's public schools.

People should never fear for their lives because of their service to their community. I grieve with our Minnesota colleagues over the loss of Speaker Emerita Hortman and her husband, and wish Senator Hoffman and his wife strength and a full recovery.

Republicans are running back into the arms of the Governor after extremist members of their party were unwilling to compromise on the state budget. If they can’t find reasonable members on their side, our doors are always open. We just hope they decide before it's too late.

It’s good having a governor who gets it. Child care is how we keep our workforce moving and our families supported.

We must invest in our child care providers in this budget. I'm urging the Legislature to join me in making real, meaningful investments in child care statewide. We must make real, meaningful investments that will help providers and families. Let's get it done.

After weeks of delays, WIGOP wrapped w/out expanding postpartum care or sufficiently funding long-term care. But thanks to Governor Tony Evers, we did secure $330M for childcare & the largest special ed investment in WI history. Still, it's not enough, & the fight is far from over.
