I was honored to join in the opening of the Eastway Crossings Apartments. This community will serve low-income seniors, with 30% of the units reserved for veterans. Housing is a right, and I will not stop fighting for access to affordable housing until that right is a reality.

The Expanded Child Tax Credit supported hundreds of thousands of children in the 12th District alone, giving working families some much needed breathing room.

It's far past time we made it permanent.

Last night, I had the privilege to return to my alma matter North Carolina A&T to address Dr. Judy Rashid’s doctoral class on Leadership and Politics. As a 40 year retired professor, it is always nice to return to campus and talk to students! #AggiePride
