Excited to be at the Africa Health Agenda International Conference 2023 conference in Kigali. Looking forward to the next three days.

Excellent panel and country perspectives on the future of Global Health Initiatives Day 1 - AHAIC 2023 conference. GHIs to consider country needs and priorities versus their interests; more research required on best domestic financing vehicles; power imbalances to be addressed.

Day 2 AHAIC 3023. Session on strengthening multisectoral engagement on youth empowerment. Discussions on meaningful youth participation and engagement - create opportunities, provide platforms, and build their capacity to participate in policy making spaces.

Day 3 AHAIC 2023. Working session on gender equality and health facilitated by Dr Lwazi Manzi. A key message was that we require circles (of policy and practice) influence targeting boys and girls that will shift skewed perspectives on SRHRs. It should start in the home.
