We are very pleased to hear that things are moving quite positively in the right direction. But please don't forget that there's some work to do to ensure the BBC Singers are totally safe. The 20% cuts to the three English BBC Orchestras are still a serious concern too.

Please do come to our concert on Saturday 1 April. The programme includes Finzi's Lo the Full, Final Sacrifice, and Part 2 of the Messiah. It's also our first concert with our fantastic new MD, Naomi Butcher.

Anyone who came to our concert on Saturday will know the tune... this reminds us the fight must go on: the BBC Singers are not really safe yet, the Orchestras are to be decimated, and the ACE cuts to opera companies and the likes of Britten Sinfonia are hitting touring across UK.
