Last night this passed the Texas House. Now it goes to Abbott. SB4 lets Texas law enforcement arrest undocumented immigrants on suspicion of "illegal entry," and lets Texas judges issue "orders to return" to Mexico—even if the person is allowed to stay in the US to seek asylum.
