Sportsman defeat El Dorado 5-3. McCade Moody throws 6 1/3 innings with 5 hits and 8 strikeouts. Reed Carroll with a 2 rbi double, Logan Taylor with a hit and rbi and T Grubbs with a hit and rbi. Sportsman play Bryant Sunday at 6:00. Winner advances to State Champ game.

SO RHP Trey Jordan used his physical 6’4 and 220 lb frame to work the FB up to 87.4 mph w/strong spin (2417) as well as feel for shaping both 74 mph CB and 78 mph SL as well as fading CH at 79 mph. True 4 pitch mix and showed solid command at the ⁦Carl Albert State College Baseball⁩ scout day

SO INF/RHP ⁦Reed Carroll⁩ showed his 2-way potential at the ⁦Carl Albert State College Baseball⁩ scout day going 101.3 off the bat w/quick hands as well as smooth actions in the INF. On the mound he worked up to 87 mph w/good hand speed and showed a tight low 70’s SL & fading 81 mph CH

Reed Carroll has some juice in the bat and is a plus defender on the left side of the infield, can play either position! 4 year schools needing an infielder, take a look! Also runs it upper 80s on the mound with a good slider. Pro style workout video also available upon request.

Vikings drop two close ones in Hot Springs today. Reed Carroll had a big day, with 3 homeruns, a double and a triple. Preston Curtis hits his 20th homerun of the year. Back in action Saturday to finish the series. Chance Noah on the bump game 1.
