Great to celebrate 75 years of aviation at Region of Waterloo International Airport this weekend! The airport continues to be a vital part of our region’s growth and connectivity. Thank you to all who joined the open house and to the teams who keep YKF soaring!

Great to connect with MP Tim Louis 🇨🇦 this morning to discuss key priorities for Region of Waterloo. Thank you for your continued collaboration in building a strong, inclusive, and future-ready community.

Pleased to join Sylvia Jones and colleagues yesterday for the announcement of $10M in additional funding to continue planning a new hospital for the Waterloo Region Health Network. This is a vital step forward in meeting the growing healthcare needs of our community.

Today I joined Jess Dixon, and local health partners to announce $4.1 million in new provincial funding to expand access to primary care in #WaterlooRegion. This will help connect thousands of residents to healthcare in both the cities and our rural townships.

Photos of our most recent Jack Young Civic Award recipients are now on display at Region of Waterloo Headquarters. A small but meaningful tribute to the remarkable individuals who make our community stronger through service and leadership.

Great to connect with Attorney General Doug Downey and Associate AG Dr. Michael Tibollo at #AMO2025. We talked about ways to modernize our courts and reduce backlogs so people in Waterloo Region can get timely access to the judicial system.

Great to meet with Minister of Natural Resources Mike Harris at #AMO2025 to discuss the Airport Growth Plan and the importance of balancing YKF’s growth with protecting the natural areas that surround it.

Another great conversation at #AMO2025! I met with delegates from Region of Waterloo to hear about their goals and discuss how we can continue supporting our municipal partners and work together to build up our communities.
