Just before the break, the geography classes at Bishop Reding had the opportunity to chase down a storm! Chris Chittick is a professional storm chaser who talks about the storms he has chased through videos and photographs, as well as the safety aspects of surviving the worst!

'Who Dun it?' Murder Mystery at Bishop Reding! Can you solve who murdered the Archduke and his wife Sophie in 1914? Our students could!

Teaching our students about key historical figures in African history through literature. Big thank you to Ms. Bonsu for having Ekiua Aire in as a guest speaker! #realworldlearning

Playdough can be fun, even in high school! Learning about the layers of the earth through hands-on manipulation!

Lego, in high school? Grade 9 students using Lego to represent the different physical characteristics, resources, and human interaction that exist across Canada!

Grade 10 students had the opportunity to manipulate and interact with Artifacts of WWI sent to us by the War Museum. A great opportunity for experiential learning!

BR’s grade 11 Law students engaged with forensic sciences today. Fortunate to have Murray Clayton from UTM visit and teach some real-world information!

To celebrate earth day, grade 9 Geography students cleaned up the school yard and community. Students did an amazing job and got lots of thanks from neighbors.

Grade 9 AP Geography students tried their hand at an activity we did at the start of the semester. Their goal was to beat their original time putting together a world map. With communication, team work and skills learned in the course, they were able to almost half their time!

Bishop Reding Geography classes using experiential learning opportunities to teach map making skills all while helping the Grade 9's discover their new school!

Students using our new whiteboard desk to investigate the importance of alliances as a cause of WWI! These make teaching and brainstorming so much easier for our CWS classes!

Geography Students using GIS to understand patterns and relationship in our world regarding food insecurities, gross national product, climate and politics. Great introduction to a possible future jobs!

In all our CWS classes, teachers regards hands on learning as crucial aspects to incorporate into our lessons. This activity has students exploring the earth's interior in our physical geography unit!

A little late, but Grade 8 night in the CWS department was a huge success! Students were engaged in the activities the CWS department prepared!
