SVB is too big to fail. The impact of govt not stepping in can have a chilling effect on the entire industry - startups, venture funds, LPs.

Venture debt has been a useful instrument for startups. Debt allocation for early stage startups is more an art than a science. With the recent events at SVB, I fear raising venture debt will become harder. Founders have less room for error. This could be the new normal.
