12 game FCS season means there’s absolutely no reason why a league w/ 10 or fewer team needs to have schools not playing each other Looking at you Valley Football ಠ_ಠ. Southland Conference gets a pass because they’re already announced a full 9 conference suite starting next season.

We don’t always agree (or for that matter play nice with each other). But when we do it’s because we both know we’re hella right.

UIW becoming a Montana-tier team’s been one of the more incredible FCS stories the last decade. But they’re one of just 37 FCS teams not to opt in to House (including all the Ivy, Patriot, and NEC sans LIU). So like EWU, gotta wonder if poor investment ultimately kneecaps them.

So is this suggesting UC Davis (or someone else) isn’t long for the Big Sky? Or else a 14th team coming shortly (Sac State comes groveling?) Because otherwise not every team in the conference can play 9…

Context: Starting our ‘25 podcast list. And while we’ve added youtube “podcasts” in past, as youtube, tiktok, etc. explode it’s hard to feel confident we’re very close to definitively knowing what’s out there. Plus, non-podcast content is great. But unlistenable on a commute.
