Make sure you know the beginning middle and end before you start. They can change as you write, but know where you are headed when you start. Make certain your protagonist makes choices. The more interesting the choices, the better. Finish. You can't fix it until it's done.

I'm being told by Austin news (and old gamers) that Dave Nalle died of COVID over the weekend. Dave was always someone who was willing to talk, whether he was being kind, sarcastic, or just making the rest of us yell a lot, and I'm sorry I hadn't more info recently. Dave was 62.
